Disease Condition: Diabetes is a chronic metabolic condition that must be diagnosed, monitored, and medicated by your physician/endocrinologist. TCM does not treat or reverse diabetes itself. Our focus is entirely on the secondary effects that often accompany long-standing diabetes — nerve pain, numbness, poor circulation, fatigue, and slow-healing sensation loss in the hands and feet.
Arogya Acupuncture Diagnose Procedure: Before starting any treatment, we ask for your current blood sugar reports (HbA1c) and full medication list. We then assess neuropathy symptoms specifically — where numbness or tingling occurs, how long it has been present, and how it affects daily activity — alongside standard TCM pulse and tongue diagnosis.
TCM Acupuncture Pattern: Classically described as “Xiao Ke” (Wasting-Thirst syndrome); patients with neuropathy complications typically present with Qi & Yin Deficiency combined with Blood Stagnation obstructing the smaller channels of the hands and feet.
TCM Acupuncture Treatment Protocol: Acupuncture focused on improving peripheral circulation and reducing numbness/tingling sensations (points such as Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, Taixi), combined with general dietary and lifestyle guidance. We do not adjust, replace, or advise stopping any diabetic medication — this remains strictly under your physician’s care, and we actively encourage patients to keep their routine blood sugar monitoring and physician follow-ups on schedule.
Acupuncture Treatment Typical Duration: An ongoing supportive programme, typically 1–2 sessions per week, with symptom progress reviewed every 4 weeks alongside your regular medical check-ups.
